Food and Rest

 A long lie-in was more than welcome, one might say necessary, and my beloved delivered a wonderful late breakfast au lit (yes Mark … it did include black pudding! Perhaps you can vicariously share my taste sensation, otherwise you’ll have to wait until you visit, or return to, a really civilized nation).
All in, a lazy day right until late afternoon when I prepared a Mediterranean Lamb Madras Casserole ready for tomorrows dinner, the last one we’ll be sharing with our friend Graham for some time. The potatoes have been parboiled, and sprinkled with mixed herbs, garlic and ginger powder and are now taking a little rest before they bask in hot olive oil tomorrow lunchtime.
So now, I’m just going to relax with my beloved.
